“RERA” brings transparency in Real Estate sector and protects consumer interests, making developers accountable.

1. As the Chairman of TS RERA stressed on Promoters the need to contribute towards building a strong and progressive real estate sector by keeping themselves under the ambit of the Real Estate (Regulations & Development), Act 2016 and Telangana Real Estate (Regulations & Development) Rules, 2017. 2. Telangana is a State with a sizable urban population where a balanced development and regulation in the Real Estate sector is indeed required. The balancing cycle of a developed Real Estate sector and secure home buyers begins with the registration of Real Estate Projects. 3. All real estate promoters working across the state must register their Projects with TS RERA and fulfill the responsibility of safe guarding the interest of stake holders, especially home buyers, by following the RE (R& D) Act and Rules. 4. TS RERA was established in 2017. Steps are being taken to strictly enforce the provisions of Real Estate (Regulation &Development) Act and Rules, Regulations made their under to regulate the fast-growing real estate sector, bring transparency, protect the interest of home-buyers and ensure resolution of disputes between Consumers and Builders/Promoters. 5. Therefore we encourage developers/promoters and builders to adhere to RERA guidelines and deliver projects on time, as this is crucial for consumer confidence. 6. We also urge prospective homebuyers to verify the RERA registration of any project they are interested in, as this is a vital step in ensuring a secure investment.
